I grew up in a small town in Vermont, where I shot newspaper stories, weddings, and most of my high school classmates' senior portraits. I studied mechanical engineering & product design, and spent 4 years at Hasbro making toys, and 2 years at Amazon developing a device that connected families through play and learning. In 2020 I decided to go full-time into photo; I moved to New York City, and a month later, the pandemic hit.

The pandemic quickly turned me into a creative swiss army knife. I learned to shoot with strobes in the studio; I took on creative direction & production for many of my shoots; I brought photography & video projects from start to finish with retouching, and color grading.

Nowadays I operate with a small network of trusted colleagues, and spin up crew based on scope.
